A chairde ghlasa,
As part of National Volunteer week, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every member of our Party who has tirelessly and passionately volunteered their time and energy to make the Green Party what it is today.
From canvassing in the bitter cold General Election last year, and all other elections to every branch officer who’s crucial work on a local level keeps our grassroots elements of our Party alive and kicking and continuing to grow.
To our Policy Council and Executive Committee representatives who dedicate so much of their time to ensuring that the Green Party represents its member’s views and policies effectively and is governed in a fair and collective manner,
Is mór againn na daoine a dhéanann obair dheonach dúinn, agus tá an-áthas orm an deis seo a thapú le buíochas ó chroí a ghabháil libh go léir as bhur ndúthracht, bhur ndílseacht agus bhur dtiomantas leanúnach don Chomhaontas Glas.
Your work is absolutely essential. Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the Party, the essential cogs in the wheel that allow the Green Party to function effectively both in Government and across local communities and regions.
I would also like to say a special thank you Michael Ewing, our Policy Council Chair, Bláthín Gallagher our National Coordinator, and Hazel Chu, our Party Chair. Each of whom voluntarily devote so much of their time in ensuring the smooth running of our party at the highest level. Your commitment, passion and dedication to the Green Party is invaluable and deeply appreciated.
Deputy Leader of the Green Party
