It’s important to me that people can commute to work easily or work from home with decent broadband; that children can walk or cycle to school and play outside; that our elderly neighbours feel safe and cared for in their communities.
What I stand for
I’ve been an advocate for quality housing for a number of years, and I worked with Catherine Martin TD on a Motion on Building Standards and Consumer Protection that was passed in the Dáil in July 2017 with cross-party support.
- High-quality, affordable housing and amenities for people of all ages.
- Developing and protecting our mountain areas, green spaces and play areas.
- Supporting and connecting local residents and businesses with reliable broadband and transport links.
- Climate action locally – helping everyone to play their part.
I grew up in this area and now live locally with my husband and our three young children. I’m a practising barrister currently finishing a PhD on legal remedies for housing defects.
