The South Dublin County Green group is active across Clondalkin, Tallaght, Lucan, Palmerstown, Rathfarnham, and Firhouse-Bohernabreena. Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, they have been meeting virtually once a month. These meetings provide updates for members from their two Councillors, Deputy Mayor Laura Donaghy Councillor for Rathfarnham-Templeogue, and Suzanne McEneaney Councillor for Firhouse-Bohernabreena.

The group also get regular Oireachtas updates from Deputy Francis Noel Duffy TD for Dublin South West. In 2020, group members canvassed in the General Election and more recently in the Dublin Bay South by-election.

In pre-Covid times, the group enjoyed many social meetups and fundraisers for local and Dáil Elections.
