I stand for a diverse and equal society where all members of our community can thrive, feel safe and valued.

I want Balbriggan, Balrothery, Loughshinny and Skerries to be an inclusive community where people enjoy living with their families, where sustainable housing and infrastructure is provided alongside a healthy environment with transport that works. I stand for a diverse and equal society where all members of our community can thrive, feel safe and valued. A society that demands transparency at government level, both local and national. And a society that leads with climate focused solutions building sustainable infrastructure for our growing communities.

My priorities

Our family life needs to be protected and strengthened so that we build communities where people can grow up and grow old. We need to safeguard access to childcare and quality care for older and more vulnerable members of society.

Equality and inclusiveness. I’m proud to say I live in one of the most culturally and ethnically diverse LEAs. We need to ensure that every member of our community feels valued. This needs more than just promoting equality, it requires building an inclusive society.

Infrastructure to sustain our growing communities. Our housing crisis needs to be tackled with planned housing solutions that include adequate infrastructure such as water supply, public transport, schools, GPs ensuring we live happy, healthy and connected lives.

Emphasis on climate action sooner rather than later. As a mother of two, I fear the lack of urgency around the climate crisis and how this will, impact on their future. We need solutions for a cleaner, greener, more sustainable future for our families and our communities
